Past Congress Gatherings

The Citizens Grassroots Congress has sponsored or co-sponsored many events, including having labor leaders speak at the AFL-CIO, environmentalists, anti-death penalty advocates, advocates for stopping factory farms, those pushing campaign finance legislation, lifestyle changes to help preserve the environment, and events that advocate for media reform, among many others.  Only events that have happened since this website has been created are listed.

Recent Gatherings have included various groups that have met in a Citizen's Grassroots Congress form to spell out concerns and proposed resolutions to bring before Columbus City Council and the State of Ohio Legislature.  

As part of this ongoing process, The Citizen's Grassroots Congress, along with many other organizations and people in the Columbus area, support a Cities for Peace Resolution regarding the Iraq War
